Opened 2 accounts with Oaknorth, yes I have checked them out on FCS etc but they seem a bit unprofessional and incompetent.....
Seem to cant distinguish between 2 different types of account.
Are they ok?

They are as safe as any other bank which offers FSCS protection. Which accounts can't they distinguish? What attracted you to them?0

I've never opened more than one account on the same day, but each account has a unique account number which you are given at the end of the application, so I don't see a reason for the confusion.
If you've checked them out on the FCA register, then that should give you enough to go on.0 -
I wasn't impressed when they insisted you had to have lived in the UK for three years before you could open an account with them0

I opened a fixed term and easy access, and yes, 2 different account numbers, and then they say I have paid into the fixed when it clearly shows the other.
I copied and pasted it and then to them and then nothing??
I know they are on the register but....
I opened with them as recommended on here for the interest and that they do a 9 month term.0 -
I've recently had an issue transferring an ISA from Oak North to Nationwide (Nationwide's fault) and Oak North have been super helpful getting it sorted out.No. 30 on Save 12k in 2018 £20,218.75/£20,000
No. 90 on Save 12k in 2017 £19,650.21/£15,0000 -

It's still not clear what you are saying happened. Did you:
a) Transfer money to Account#1 and they are saying you transferred it to Account#2
b) Transfer money to Account#1 and they say that account number is for the fixed term account, but your email shows that it's the easy access?
If (a) you'll need a redacted bank statement showing the destination sort code and account number. If (b) you'll need a copy of the email showing the account number and product type, but in either case a complaint should sort it.
Are you sure you didn't copy and paste the account number from the wrong email?0 -
I transferred money to Account 1 but they said I did it to Account 2.
I showed them the details they sent me, and agreed they were in the wrong....
Its sorted now, but just don't sit well.0
