UKPCS now at DRP stage - need advice

Received a PCN a few months back through the post.
Didn't appeal at any stage as I had a vaild ticket and figured it was just a scam.
Ignored the several letters they have sent and have now been slapped with a £160 charge from Debt Recovery Plus.
Read through the newbies page and it says to appeal as if its the first stage, however no way to do this online.
Do you recommend calling them, posting an appeal?
Just looking for some advice going forward.

The "DRP" stage as you call it is not the first appeal stage. The first appeal stage is the parking charge itself or when the notice to keeper comes when there was no notice affixed to the window.
DRP are just a debt collector with no authority.
By the way, you owe me £750 for reading this thread.
^^ is the extent of DRPs power right there.
Ignore it, or you can pay me £750, your choice.
Should you go to court, which would be the last step in this chain of merry events you can disprove their claim you never paid with your ticket and DRPs letter will be an extra point in your defence as they're not allowed to artificially increase the charge past what the notice to keeper asks for and them making a claim against you with that figure would be an abuse of process.. another defence point.
As you've already ignored everything, continue ignoring them. If you get any letters from a court though, do not ignore it otherwise you really will be in trouble.Never admit to being the driver, POFA 2012 Schedule 4 is your best friend, always fight as registered keeper. Disprove keeper liability and you may be able to claim/counterclaim for data protection breach(s) and harassment. Don't just fight back, FIGHT BACK.0 -

Unfortunately, not getting this beaten at the outset allows UKPC to pursue you through the small claims court any time in the next 6 years.
At this stage, UKPC are chasing multiple ticket motorists in the courts, not those with a one-off ticket. But depending on cash levels (the only motivating factor in this industry), they may be squirrelling away single tickets for a rainy day. No one can forecast or give comfort on how they might behave between now and 2024.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Is it worth appealing to UKCPS, or continue down my (stupidly) chosen route?0 -

You have NOT been slapped with a £160 charge from DRP ?
DRP are only sewer rats that attach themselves to parking scammers and are POWERLESS ....... take no notice of these idiots, regardless of how many letters you get from them.
BUT, keep that letter for future reference. WHY, because DRP offer a "no win no fee" service and as you will not be paying them, the PPC gets the DRP service FREE.
Further down the road, if the PPC makes a claim including the £60 you know it will be fraud ... that's where the judge takes over

Is the parking company UKPC, UKPCS, or UKCPS?
I noticed a few different ones mentioned. Advice might differ depending on which (including that which I've given you). We want this to be bespoke to your circumstances, then none of us is going down blind alleys. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
