Pip claim?

Pip received my form on 5/12 and someone rang today to do an over the phone assessment . She said the dwp will now look at my rate of how much I get. Does this mean I have been awarded it or does this mean it will go to dwp for a decision? Also how long have people waited from the assessment before getting a letter from them

It means it goes to a DWP case manager for a decision.
Timescale wise, it's hard to predict, because it depends on which site has your case and what the workloads are like there.
I'd ask for a copy of the assessment report- that will give you an idea of what the outcome is likely to be and then if you haven't heard anything within about six weeks give them a call.
If yours is a brand new claim for PIP then once the assessment report is received then a decision could be made very quickly, or could take 4-6 weeks. It just depends on those work queues.
If you already receive PIP and this is an award rview, the wait for a decision is likely to take longer.0 -
