gmail accont banned, setup using bluestacks

A little while back I installed bluestacks to have a play and test run some code on the desktop instead of having to keep switching to the tablet.

When I installed it I created a new gmail account, not used bluestacks for a while and went to use it last night to find it would not log in. Seems google have banned the email address for breaching its terms.

Anyone else had the same issue? Cannot find many posts about people having their gmail accounts blocked.

There shouldnt be anything inherrantly(sp?) wrong with using bluestacks for gmail

Sure that the account had not been compromised, so It got disabled/banned?

Easy to start a new one?

No idea why it has been flagged as a breach of terms, only used bluestacks a few times.

I have queried the ban and given them a new email address to forward the results.
Just tried creating a new one and it instantly went to verification required to continue.

Email received back, its a generic you were banned because you violated google's policies.

Does not actually state a reason for the ban. Cannot think of any reason if the use of bluestacks is allowed.

Multiple accounts seems to be OK as long as its not for naughty deeds. Which this certainly was not.
Never sent any emails from it, never mind used it for spam etc.

Very strange.

I know some years back facebook blocked me for creating names with numbers in them which they thought was fake. That i understand and have no issues with. I just stopped using it until i created a page for my old school which is going well and well beyond just old friends now.

But this email has nothing to do with that, only created this year and used a grand total of 3 times in the bluestacks software. Not played games where using a PC could gain an edge or anything like that either.

Gone through their naughty list and nothing stands out.

Problem is you get the generic email which you cannot reply to, so have to start from scratch by trying to login and selecting recover when it fails.

Seems risky using gmail for my banking email if they can suddenly ban you without warning and seemingly for no reason. Making it hard to appeal also.
