Marks and Spencer sale

Marks and Spencer are currently advertising a furniture range (Hastings) for 50% off and this includes a 'multiple deal' for 20% off when you buy 2 items. I placed both items into my cart and the price went back to full price again. After a bit of digging, I found a screen that said the 50% off would not apply until 19th of December (over a week away). Is this false advertising as I had to search to find the reasoning behind the price change and I doubt the 'multiple deal' will last for another week? I have copies of images of all furniture advertising. I've be grateful for any advice/help! Thank you.

I had a look at the terms and conditions. It says the 20% off for two items ends 17/12 and the 50% off sale starts 19/12. Also says you can’t combine offers.0

Okay, thank you. It just seems a little ridiculous to advertise the product half price so early and to claim that there is "multiple offers" on the products.0
