Switching sims

Hi

Can I switch the sim from my Samsung Galaxy S4 into a sim free Samsung J6 I am thinking of buying off Amazon? If so is there an online guide anywhere to show me how to transfer all my stuff from the old phone to the new one.

Thanks
Val :)

If the new phone takes the same size SIM then yes. If it doesn't you will need to get a replacement SIM of the correct size.

Sync everything you can with your Google account. If you use Whatsapp follow their instructions. Back up photos to a computer.

    Thanks for that.

The specification for the J6 refers to a dual sim. Is that a problem when putting in the new nano sim?

    Thanks

If your existing sim isn't too old you may find that it is already pre cut to the 3 sizes of sim and you simply push out the size required.

If not then you will have to get a new sim from your network provider and they will switch your number across at a time convenient to you.
