Do you know you're replying to a year old post?
Obviously I didn't notice the year, seeing only a December dateline. :o

It was not I who bumped the thread by the way, that post has been deleted.

(I'm betting the company never gave in to the OP's demands for more compensation, though I doubt the OP will return to tell us...;) )

They're on an all-expenses paid cruise, courtesy of IKEA, eating their hamper.
  • I bought my kitchen and had it fitted by ikea, the sink cracked and it was replaced. The fitter noticed it had leaked and the unit had started to buckle, so he ordered a new part. when he came back it was the wrong part. This was 2 years ago, and it still has not been fixed. The fitter came back 2 or 3 times but each time he did not have the right part. Now it has got so bad that my dishwasher almost falls out of the housing unit that it is in. I have called customer services many times and each time they say they will call me within the next 72 hours and give me a case number. I have been to the store and spoken to the kitchen manager AJ, the showroom manager Kash and still nothing. I have now spoken to trading standards who say I have a right to my money back so I now will go down the legal route. It is sad that we have to go to this extreme just for what was a little repair. I did recommend my Ikea kitchens to my friends and family but I would not recommend them again. I am still waiting for the manager or the head office to respond it really is very bad. I'm 62 and really don't need all this stress
