Paid Egg card off in July, asked them to close it.
Several million statements, letters and secure messages later, it's still open, even though everyone that sends me a message assures me it's closed. Logged in tonight & got a splendid message offering a preferential rate on a balance transfer (for an account that's allegedly closed).
I don't want the chuffing moon on a stick, I just want to close the account :mad:

I had this problem too. I had to email them about 8 times to get it closed.
However they did say that I would be able to view my statements online for x amount of time after the account closed so I could refer back to them if I ever needed to.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *
