fine but no proof of parking

I went into a car park in Wells next sea, it was very busy and the parking is tight (possibly under sized) & after 24 minutes gave up. I received a pcn with two photos, one on entry & and one 24 minutes later on departure. The sign says you have 10 minutes to obtain a parking ticket, but what do you do if you can't park? I have sent the private company my appeal on the grounds that I did not park because the car park was full & some of the bays and runoffs were below recommended sizes. What should be my next step & have I a chance of getting the charge rescinded?

Wait for your appeal to be accepted or declined.

Difficult to say what you should do after that without knowing who the parking company is.

Yes you do have a chance of that.

BPA operator so you have a chance of cancellation via POPLA.

Send CEL the standard initial appeal template as per the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1 (via the method required as shown on the NtK) and get your POPLA Code with CEL's rejection of your initial appeal. Can take them up to 35 days to send you that code.

Meantime, do some advance reading on how to construct a winning POPLA appeal by reading the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #13, which deals with POPLA appeals.

Also do some targeted forum searches for successful, recent CEL POPLA appeals. Keywords for search 'CEL POPLA'.
