Perthes help !

My child has been diagnosed with perthes, he is so brave but effects him as he can’t do what other children do.

Can someone offer me advise on blue badge and if there is any help we can get with money ?

You don't say how old your child is. If they are under 16 then DLA could be possible. For this you'll need to prove that your child needs more care, attention or supervision than a child of the same age who isn't disabled.

Did you not get any other help when you got the diagnosis?
Contact the local social work office and ask about getting a social worker who will be able to help with some of the issues.

OP, the Perthes Association should be able to give you support and advice on what help is available.
