New Build Completion & Landscaping Query

Hi, we are in the process of buying a new build property, it is the show home on the estate. The developer are aiming for completion on the 21st but have not confirmed that yet (indeed they have only just started moving out of the office which is currently in the integral garage).
They have put the driveway in but there is also a front garden on the plot that is currently tarmac and used as parking for the show home that obviously needs to be landscaped. My question is can they leave this landscaping until after completion to do or can we insist on it being done before we complete?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

You can insist on them doing whatever your contract says they've to do before the completion date. What does the contract say?0

It is on the plans and confirmed in writing that they will landscape it, but I am under no illusions that it will be that straightforward once we've completed and they've got our money.
Completion now confirmed for the 20th but nothing in the contract to prevent it due to landscaping.0
