Stylus Extension

Not sure whether to put this here or PV&W ...

I've been using the Stylus extension (to get rid of the clutter on this forum and to make the width fill the screen). Recently I've been noticing a window flash up on my monitor and then disappear - too fast for me to be able to catch what it is. I've noticed that it only happens here on MSE ... and MSE is the only website for which I use Stylus.

I turned off Stylus and notice that the window flash no longer happens, so it makes me wonder what on earth Stylus is actually doing. (I previously used Stylish but ditched it after the furore about it "spying" - has Stylus started to do the same? See edit below)

Anyway - there's a workaround for Ublock origin (and probably Adblock Plus) extension users - add the following to your My Filters section in Options:

Does exactly the same thing as Stylus without the need for another extension.

Edit: scratch that ... I'm still seeing the window. I wonder if it is the Spy Police at my work? The main thrust of the above is still valid - it just means I was right to post here rather than PV&W.
