I learnt from this thread that you can have 2 of these accounts - opening a second now. Thanks!0

You were on here last night so have had a chance to read most of the replies. Why don't you do the decent thing - acknowledge you screwed up magnificently and apologise for your errors?
Along with others, I'm still waiting for that poster to identify all those better comparable accounts but suspect that'll continue to be greeted with silence too....dont_use_vistaprint wrote: »IMO the real account is a poor product in comparison to others on the market0 -

Only if the 2nd one is a joint one...
"The Classic Plus Account is restricted to one account in your sole name, and another Plus account in joint names".
Some on here have 2 sole a/cs as they opened them before this restriction came into force.0 -
I have 2 & a third one jointly with husband, plus he has 1 of his own.
As Clivep has said, like others I've had my 2nd one since before the rules changed, TSB did mention that the 2nd a/c's may be withdrawn but it hasn't happened (yet). Not because they haven't noticed (according to my friend in TSB), they just haven't done it.
We use all 4 just for savings leaving £1500 in each, all just sitting there earning interest since the day they were opened.
£500 bounces by S/O between A & B on the same date. Same with C & D, to meet all 4 a/c paying in requirements. Can't be bothered to involve other banks (got enough going on with some of those).
I manually scoop off the interest regularly, but I've a mind to save myself even the bother of that by setting up monthly S/O's but you do have to access the a/c once each year, & I'm likely to forget if I've nothing manual to do! I move the interest to a Tesco on-line instant access account & spend it on holidays & numerous other frivolous things.Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0 -
Hi all,
I would like to open one of these accounts now that they can be opened online. I have couple of questions if somebody could help please.
1. Am I right in thinking the cashback offers for 2 x DD's and 15 x debit card purchases are both expired? This is how the T&C's read but they look a bit out of date.
2. Why do they want my employers address? I don't want my boss being hassled for the sake of a few quid of interest.0 -

"Cashback offer end dates: 30 June 2018 for accounts opened between 1 March 2017 and 7 January 2018 and 31 December 2018 for accounts opened between 8 January 2018 and 8 June 2018. T&Cs apply."
1.Sounds clear to me - unless they've extended it you've missed it..
2. So you tell the truth about employment and salary?0 -
I have £1500 savings in there. The money is to pay of a 0% credit card which expires end 2020.
I move money around manually when I receive my salary each month. This is partly because payday can be different each month (depending when the weekend falls) and partly because I like to keep track of everything.
£500 goes in one day, then comes out the next day plus the interest into another account.
I am lucky not to have been hit with any IT problems.0 -

I had no problems either, alas....:)

They will be doing a Credit Check on you, can't envisage any reason why they would contact your employer.0
