What's the longest you've waited for a purchase to appear on your balance?

Morning everyone,

I made quite a large purchase from my workplace in a staff sale 2 week's ago today. As yet, this hasn't appeared on my online credit card account.

Is this normal?

It's not normal, but also not uncommon.

I've had a few card transactions that have never been debited from my account. Probably half a dozen over 20 yrs

It was close to 3k so that would be amazing!

I'm still waiting for one for about £150 to appear from 3.5 years ago.

I've known a few card payments go astray over the years. The best was the 'pay at pumps' at Tesco filling station which let me fill up my car for free a couple of times. The transactions appeared to be processed as normal on the pumps but nothing ever came out of my account. That was 10-11 years ago.

Wasn't Centerparcs was it? I had one roughly the same amount and timescale.

Me too, a similar number in the 24 years since I had my first credit card.

No, it was a timber inspection on a house that I ended up not buying.

Personally I’ve never noticed

But through work I’ve seen them over 10 years, but maybe twice in 15 years.
