So it doesnt say if they will take a '50p off a product voucher' if you dont buy it! It also says 'it depends on the store'. Some people are getting huge discounts and others get refused. Asda's policies suck (though I suppose if you are one of the lucky ones you will disagree)

Was a very vague reply wasn't it.

Have emailed them again being a bit more specific with regards to their policies on Internet coupons and stating which store I intend to use them in.

That way if I get a reply that helps me I can print it off and take it with me when I go shopping to save all the "oohing and umming" that the checkout staff there seem to make a lot. (That's the theory anyway!)

If the reply can help anyone else then I will post it here for others to print off.

Good luck! Had real problems this weekend with another overcharge and getting them to cough up on their 200% (refund and replace) guarantee for some very sour tasting salad. I'm glad I only have to use asda for odd-n-ends. What a nightmare!
  • Do Sainsbury's or Tesco's do the same? Asda is quite a way from here :-( Or Morrisons?

    Thanks

I emailed Waitrose to ask what their policy on accepting coupons is.
    I got this reply.

    Thank you for your e-mail.

We accept suppliers' coupons for any product which we sell, including Waitrose Food Illustrated coupons, whether or not the customer is purchasing the item for which the coupon was issued.

Our Cashiers may accept any quantity of coupons provided that the coupons are valid.
