Nest Learning Thermostats
Nest is possibly the worst organisation I have ever come across. I ordered and paid for a Nest Learning Thermostat on 26th November as part of the Black Friday promotion. The order confirmation told me unequivocally that the order delivery time was four days. That was a lie - they didn't have stock as I have now discovered and as far as I am concerned were selling under false pretences. I began contacting them after five days had elapsed as I had had no further contact and was told it would be with by the end of last week. When there was still no contact by Wednesday I contacted them again and was once more told they had no stock - they blamed Black Friday as they continue to do. When I made a nuisance of myself and wanted to complain I was finally put through to senior adviser who said the stock was in Poland and should be shipped to me within 48 hours. I tried to check my order status today on line and was told I hadn't ordered anything. When I rang them to find out why I was getting this message they couldn't tell me. What they could tell me was that the order had still not been processed and was still in Poland. Hopefully it will be dispatched before Brexit kicks in! If this is a measure of their efficiency God knows what the product itself is like. I wish now I had bought a Hive instead.
