NHS Prescription Penalty Charge Notice

I'd try speaking to someone else at NHSBSA, if that fails, put your response in writing, challenging the penalty notice on the basis it was applied on the wrong date. Perhaps the Boots pharmacy has applied for payment of the script before they were entitled?0

Be aware that if you dont pay / challenge they will slap a penalty on the penalty after xx days .0

Hi just a quick update, firstly thank you all for comments and suggestions. After my last call with the NHS penalty team someone was kind enough to actually look at the facts that l gave them with a critical eye and was able to marry up the dates that l gave and put one and one together, which proved that Boots has submitted the prescription before my collection date. l bet more people will get caught out by this poor practice by Boots since the inoduction of the new digital system.0

Good, I'm glad it's all sorted.0
