BW Legal - Premier Parking Solutions

On 1st December 2018 received Letter from BW Legal stating I have to pay £160 to them within 16 days.
They also included Letter from Premier Parking Solutions saying that "Your account has been passed to or legal team"
Went through NEWBIES Thread and did read similar "stories"
So Im possibly expecting another "Letter of claim" from them and then real Court papers? ,in the meantime I requested SAR from PPS
I used this template:
PPS have replied within 3 days, and looks like they have 2 separate "Contraventions" against me/car, but to my surprise BW Legal only referring to 1 of them.
I have shared all letters and SARs I received in this link:
drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ubogwsEUthqFPrK6Zgy0eF7B69hUTeB2?usp=sharing
file named SAR1 - just photos of car ,no letters attached to it, maybe bw legal knew already there is no chance for that one so were not interested, or SAR is just not complete, not sure
PCN: XXXXX
29.02.2016 (17:36)
Imported from dvla: 07/04/2016 (09:21)
date of letter: 08/04/2016
file named SAR2
PCN: XXXXX
18/04/2016 (17:28)
Imported from dvla: 25/05/2016 (09:11)
NTK - 25/05/2016
Reminder notice - 31/08/2016
Notice before action - 04/10/2016
Both tickets are relating to "Free ticket" that wasn't printed and displayed (stayed there for no more than 5 min)
PPS in that email I received with SAR says:
I appreciate any advice ,What should be my next move?

Please supply me the data about me that I am entitled to for free under data protection law relating to myself.
Please can you provide the following:
• all data held
• all evidence you PREMIER PARKING SOLUTIONS Ltd intend to use against me (to include- a copy of the contract with the landowner under which you assert authority to bring a claim against me, a copy of the alleged contract with the driver, a plan showing where the signs were displayed, details of the signs displayed).
• all letters/emails sent and received (including your correspondence with the DVLA to obtain my personal details and any appeal correspondence).
• a full copy all parking charge notices
• all photos taken (including by ANPR)
• a list of all PCNs you consider are outstanding
• a close up of the signage at XXXXX on day in question ( 18 April 2016 )
• evidence you have paid a debt collector
• a PDT machine record from all of the 2016 listed pcn dates which must show all payments
made, and partially redacted VRNs, with sufficient information to protect full disclosure of other VRNs but enough letters or numbers to establish and identify if a payment was made.

Many thanks for the email.
I have updated your address on our system.
Please find attached your SARs as requested. There are two PCNs both of which were ignored by the driver hence they have passed to debt recovery for pre court action.
Please note that it is not my responsibility to provide certain information that you have asked for as they are not within the scope of a SAR, such as:
Outstanding PCNs
Signage copies outside what is attached
Payment of debt collectors (of which there is none)
P&D machine records
These are a matter for the debt recovery company, BW Legal to address if at all relevant.
Kind regards.
DPO
I appreciate any advice ,What should be my next move?

It is the will of Parliament that these scammers be put out of business. Hopefully that will take place in the near future. The Bill has passed through the HOC without hitch, and goes to the Lords soon. In the meantime involve your MP, the poor dears are buckling under the weight of complaints about these scammers. Read this one which I wrote earlier
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of alleged contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors. Is has been suggested by an MP that some of these companies may have connections to organised crime.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, (especially Smart}, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week), hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
The problem has become so widespread that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers.
Sir Greg Knight's Private Members Bill to curb the excesses, and perhaps close down, some of these companies passed its Third Reading in late November, and, with a fair wind, will become Law next year.
All three readings are available to watch on the internet, (some 6-7 hours), and published in Hansard. MPs have an extremely low opinion of the industry. Many are complaining that they are becoming overwhelmed by complaints from members of the public. Add to their burden, complain in the most robust terms about the scammers. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

You don't owe £160, BWLegal are trying to extort money from you
But wait for a REAL LBC and see if these extortion merchants still add on the fake £60
BWLegal - the list of failures growing and the FAKE £60 add-on

Hi there.
I'm in a similar position and asking for advice. I was given a parking fine by premiere parking solutuions in Septermber 2017. After checking these forums, it seemed to be the best course of action to ignore everything - which I did...
I have now got a letter from bwlegal asking for £160 and saying that I have until the 28th Dec to pay. If not, they 'may instruct us to commence County Court proceedings against you...for legal fees, soliciter feees, statutory interest, and balance due, etc'.
I'm in a very busy period of my life right now (little kids, new job, etc), so not sure I can spend hours of time on this. Is it worth just giving in and paying; or should I continue to ignore and hope for the best?
