Specified Adult Childcare Credits

I took voluntary redundancy from work at end of August 2017. I then started to look after my grandaughter (now aged 2 ) for a couple of days per week .
I am looking to apply for the above National Insurance credits. Does anyone know if there is a minimum amount of hours you need to look after the child to qualify?

There’s information here https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/national-insurance-credits-for-adults-who-care-for-a-child-under-12-fact-sheet/specified-adult-childcare-credits-fact-sheet, which you may already have seen. There isn’t anything suggesting a specified number of hours.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
