My husband will finish work on 10th Feb 2019. He was invited to apply for early retirement / Voluntary Redundancy. He will receive a redundancy payment plus a lump sum from his local government pension plus his monthly pension. He will not qualify for any means tested benefit. However we are not clear as to whether he can claim the £73 JSA contribution based benefit for 6 months. Any help appreciated. He is 61 years old.

It's more than likely now new style JSA and yes he can claim from then, but any work pension over £50 weekly will reduce it £ for £ so he may get full £73.10 JSA or none depending on his work pension amount.
