BW Legal Letter Bicester

I have received a letter from BW Legal saying that I need to pay 160 pounds of which 60 pounds of the original PCN.

Apparently the PCN was for March 2018 however I didn't receive any notifications about this. The only notification I have is from BW Legal in December. We did move to another address in December 2017, we updated our address to DVLA in Dec/Jan 2017/2018. It seems they were posting to my old address for what ever reason.

But other than that we had paid for parking, so I asked BW Legal for evidence that we didn't pay and all they sent was a copy of the PCN and three photos of my car driving (not parked) and a close up of my number plate. So I asked them to provide information from the parking ticket and perhaps a photo that shows we didn't have our ticket displayed in the car, they then said we need to get a form from court and fill out my defence (or something along those lines).

I really need help, I don't think I have a reciept from the parking machine from march and also we paid using money.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

As well as Driving Licences, did you update the Vehicle's Registration Document (V5c) at the same time?
Please check the V5c now. A real fine can be levied.

What on earth does that mean?
It seems to indicate that you phoned them. Is that right?
  • When I got the letter from BW Legal I called them asking what this notice was all about and that is when I found out that this was a parking fine from March

So you have no record of what was said on the phone?

Apparently you don't even understand what was said on the phone.

Did they somehow manage to find out who was driving during that telephone call?

There are some good reasons why it is never a good idea to use a telephone when dealing with an adversary.
