    OP only you can decide what this flat is worth to you, you have to weigh up all your options, how likely you are to find something else etc

  • Thanks for your replies. We could probably find something else if we wanted to wait, however I am not sure if it would be in this area (which we love). Plus having to pull out at this stage would be heart wrenching for both of us.

    Are we in a decent position to renegotiate? I cant imagine having a mortgage agreed on the asking price will do us any favours, but a drop in 10k would definitely make me more confident.
