PPI claim
Cut it short they are sending me forms to fill in and sign.
I have changed my mind, will they charge anything if I don't sign nor send back the forms.
Also I am bankrupt since any possible PPI, so will that make a claim voyd.

Bankrupts cannot make PPI complaints, since any redress belongs to the Official Receiver for redistribution to your former creditors.
So it doesn't matter whether you fill in the forms or not, you'll receive nothing. The Claims Company would decline to represent you once it was told you are a bankrupt.0 -

Fixed that for you, we both know that claims companies are unscrupulous enough to or employ people on commission who will sign up anyone regardless. I suspect the more "respectable" (!) firms won't but people on facebook, maybe less so.
OP - yes you have discovered the truth about claims firms, you still have to do all the work, they post the letter. Don't use a claims firm, you won't see a penny anyway due to the bankruptcy. Speak to the OR and see if they have done it yet as you might get lucky and find there was enough PPI to clear your old debts and you get the extra or at least you pay off more of your unpaid debtsSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

You are not allowed to complain about any PPI sold to you prior to your bankruptcy. That right resides with the OR.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Thanks :T for the reply's, so when I recieve the forms I shouldn't sign and not send back.
Then just leave it at that:)0 -
When you receive the forms, throw them in the recycling.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Claims firms are not allowed to sign up anyone who is bankrupt or who might otherwise have enough unpaid debt to mean that any set off would leave them out-of-pocket if they had to pay a Claim Company fee without being awarded anything.we both know that claims companies are unscrupulous enough to or employ people on commission who will sign up anyone regardless.
As a result, any claim firm "unscrupulous" enough to ignore these rules would find that the contract was null & void, therefore ensuring their fee would not be paid.
So no real need to "fix" my post.
Bankrupts do not "get lucky" with PPI complaints. Any money awarded belongs to the OR. You're confusing people who have IVAs or DROs (who sometimes do get PPI refunds).Speak to the OR and see if they have done it yet as you might get lucky and find there was enough PPI to clear your old debts and you get the extra or at least you pay off more of your unpaid debts0 -

Not "allowed" to and not supposed to are different things. Posts on here show the firms clearly do.
If the OR gets a PPI refund and all the OP's debts are paid off, does the OR keep the money?Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

Bankrupts are not allowed to complain about PPI. It's a pre bankruptcy asset which is EXTREMELY unlikely to be an amount which will pay off all debt that Bankrupt owed. The OR will redistribute any redress to ALL the former creditors of the Bankruptcy, not just those who mis-sold PPI. The OR does not "keep" the redress.
If the OR gets a PPI refund and all the OP's debts are paid off, does the OR keep the money?
Again, you are confusing Bankrupts with those on an IVA or DRO.0 -
