Can I refuse house viewings as a tenant?

Hi,
I live in a stared student accommodation house, where kitchen and bathrooms are communal except from our private rooms. Our landlord has been making house viewings with sufficient notice for the last two months, sometimes as often as 4 times a week, regardless of whether we are at home or not, as he has the keys.
It really annoys me as they cannot be liable for any damages or theft that might occur, also I have to clean the floors everytime they come in trampling with their shoes on to my personal bedroom. No one in the household is happy about that and is quite annoyed with such behaviour. Other than that, we all have good relationship with the landlord.
I have looked through the tenancy agreement and the only clause that might apply to this is the one below:
"That the Tenant paying the rent and observing the stipulations on the part of the Tenant contained in this agreement shall peaceably hold and enjoy the Premises during the tenancy without any interruption by the Landlord or any person acting on the Landlord’s behalf unless the property is being maintained, viewings are being held at the property or Inspections are taking place at the premises. "
Can we still refuse the entrance to our rooms (not the communal areas) or does this clause make it obligatory to allow them making viewings on almost daily basis?

It's obviously reasonable for landlords to show people around but also a but much to have them traipsing around your bedroom four times a week for months.
Is there a lock on your bedroom door? If so it should be relatively cheap and easy to switch the lock over so that only you have the key. You are more than entitled to do so (unless there's something specific in your agreement which prevents it). Just switch it back at the end of the tenancy.0 -
Each of us has personal agreements, therefore entitling us to a room each.
They do give us 24 notice, however the landlady told me that the viewings will carry on until it gets let out to a group of 8 people, therefore no certain date of when they will stop. It gives no certainty and doesn't help me with my anxiety.

Youngest son lives in La. His apartment block has been put up for sale with photos of his apartment - spread all over the internet. They have not pointed out to prospective clients that his art collectionis not included in the price. The same thing also happend twice when he lived in London. The landlord has rights as well and obviously he needs to let prospective tenants view.0

I recommend asking the landlord what time you can come round their house and take a look aroundAn answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0

Can you come to an arrangement with the agent that the viewings take place when you are at home, on one day of the week, say between 5 and 7 p.m.?0
