i rarely shop in boots, only popped in the other day to update my points from an online purchase. thought i'd check the offers and noticed the free trevor sorbie miniature so got a shampoo. the toni and guy offer for me was a free miniature with purchase of a full size produce so didn't bother.

I'm not pointing it out to discredit you, I just don't want people with a lot of points making a trip into Boots specifically for this voucher only to find that they haven't got it, just as I don't want people with very few points not bothering to check as you've said they won't get it.

Flobber, I actually posted this offer on the boots grabbit thread on the 7th - a day before you started this thread (post#18). However, I didn't post about this offer to gain clicks. I just wanted to help my fellow bootsers get a bargain. We are one big happy family on the boots thread and everyone posts offers and glitches to help each other save money...not to gain clicks:)

I did not see your post, as I do not look often at grabbit forum. I discovered the offer myself. Since the offer is freebie, you posted it in the wrong forum (no offence, it's just a fact). Though, in my opinion some flexibility in this case is required, so in fact it should be posted in both forums.
I also posted it for the same reasons as you, and not to gain the Thanks clicks (what would I need those clicks for? ). I just noticed, that nowadays people click less often than in the past. I was just curious as to the reasons of that. After all clicking the Thanks button is a way of expression whether or not such offer is useful and sought-after. If there are no thanks, or just a few it might be interpreted that the offer is not attractive, not interesting, and therefore if any such similar offer would occur in the future, it should not be posted. In my opinion that Boots offer cannot be considered unnatractive, therefore I did not understand the poor view/thanks ratio, hence was my message regarding that.

I got a voucher for a free Trevor Sorbie miniature and no purchase needed - but the till rejected the voucher.

The staff weren't sure whether this was because I selected a TS product for men - or because it was 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner. I didn't want to pay for the item, so that was a waste of time.

Ah well - such is life.
