It may not even be the speakers, it could be the sound bar. The equipment may have been on display because it was a return for the same fault.

You don't seriously believe they'll provide you with a brand new product when the one they sold you was a heavily discounted display model they wanted to be rid of?
They certainly won't be contacting other retailers to source you something they no longer sell...
It doesn't sound as if you got a "good deal" at all, just some rubbish display item not worth what you paid for it.Of course anyone who gets a good deal would try their hardest to get a replacement instead of a refund, I cannot get anything half as good if I get my money back and go to buy an alternative product!!0
