Yeah I'm on Sky Mobile which is hit (as are all other MVNO's on O2's network).
I can't even load up O2's status checker on the PC, I guess it's getting hammered so don't bother trying to call, it's only affecting data BTW.0 -
O2 are blaming a global outage, however it seems to be mainly affecting O2 and companion networks and virtuals:-

I would be mightily surprised if it would allow for this. The best you can hope is some token compensation like giving you 24h for free or a GB or two of "free" data.0 -
If you cannot still use data today put the phone in airplane mode then back on or simply reboot the phone.
Reading between the lines it was a failed software update or firmware update . They had to rollback the software I assumeEx forum ambassador
