Energy debt
Options
Hi I am new to this so sorry if I make any mistakes. My daughter is about £575 IN debt with Scottish power and is on prepayment for her energy. If we were to pay off her debt is it possible to get her on a normal meter as of course this is a lot cheaper energy, I look forward to your thoughts, regards LC.

Once the debt is paid they may allow credit meters to be installed but I suspect they will require a large security deposit first. The best solution would likely be pay the debt then switch to another supplier and ask them to change to credit meters.0
