Fine cancelled but now i have a admin fee from car lease company

Hi I received a parking eye fine for parking at a services for 12 hours according to their system.
It just happens that i stopped off at the same services on my journey to visit family and then again when i came back 12 hours later...

I put in an appeal and the fine was cancelled as I had evidence in the form of toll charges during the supposed time the car was parked at the services.

I am happy that i won the appeal, however I now have a £ 15.00 administration fee from my car leasing company.
£15 is not the end of the world, however it feels like that money has just been stolen from me through no fault of my own, all because the parking-eye system is faulty!!

Do I have any chance of getting the £15 back from parking-eye? Makes me wonder how often this happens and how much money is stolen from innocent people?

Any ideas/advice would be appreciated

Many lease companies will refund admin charges in the event of a successful appeal. Check the t&cs you signed up to.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

  • you require a refund , parking eye had no just cause to get details from DVLA , they have admitted they were wrong

contact the DVLA ask ask them to sanction PE , then start a county court claim against PE

its not the money , its the principle

not enough time to go into details, but under no circumstances refer to this as a fine when dealing with a hire / lease company, it is not a fine

If the Lease firm won't refund the fee (try them first), tell PEye they are liable to pay you for it as they obtained your data illegally and that you will report their data breach to the Information Commissioner to investigate, if they do not send you a cheque for £15 and an apology and explanation as to how this ANPR misread and data misuse occurred, within 14 days:
