Will this affect my credit rating?

Hi,
I have inherited some money from the passing of my stepdad ; I have an amount and my brother does(mum has given me his to look after until he is at a more mature stage of his life - for a house deposit/car).
I just wanted to know if I opened a few saving/ISA/ accounts for this amount, if it would affect my credit rating and score? I have got a shared ownership mortgage but do not move in until at least January 2019.
I have been reading through savings etc, but not sure on the best option for mine(a few withdrawals and pay bank ins required) and his?
Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you

Savings accounts aren't shown on your credit files.
Lenders will only ever look at the data on your files, and not the pretend ratings and scores provided by the CRAs.0 -
Unless you are opening current accounts to put some of the money aside, then your credit files will remain unaffected. Multiple current account applications will leave multiple hard searches visible on your files which will impact your ability to get credit. Savings accounts don't require credit searches to open, so feel free to open as many as you want to spread the money around0
