So this doesnt seem to be much of a topic int he UK but its a big mystery in America
Do Sub prime lenders, on your credit file, bring you down. Do premium lenders bring you up?
I noticed, when I got an Amex, I was accepted for all credit cards, 0% deals and 20k loan. Prior, I barely got a Capital one with £150 balance. Also, Vanquis and Aqua upped my limit immediately to £7500 each.
Has anyone else seen such a pattern?

It has no impact on how lenders see you, as they don't see the name of the provider. They will however factor in the limits and balances.
Whether the CRAs choose to factor it into the imaginary credit scores is irrelevant.0 -
according to money.co.uk they say different
"It tells lenders what type of credit accounts you have with which financial institution, when the accounts were open, the outstanding balance on each and whether your payments are up to date or in arrears."
Im sure if it even just a product they coul dfind out, ie. AMEX or 'Barclaycard' would obviously be Barclays.0 -
That's not true, I'm afraid.0
