Phone on finance - can I insure it?

Hi,
May be a bit of a stupid question, but it's something I'd like to know the answer to. I just recently purchased an iPhone XS on finance though Apple's 0% financing etc. Am I able to insure the phone and make claims? Would the finance effect any claims I may make?

Can't see any issue, just like insuring a financed car etc? if it does get replaced, not sure if the finance co would need to know - thinking of different IMEI number?0

Would think they would want to know.
The finance co would surely want paying back as the replacement isn't the 1 on finance.0
