in Credit cards
Hi everyone,
I have 4 credit cards. Several months ago I applied and got my first Amex card.
I phoned today and asked if they ever offered promo's or Balance transfers etc. The girl said they sometimes do, she mentioned that they will accept balance transfers to them, but they don't allow balance transfers out. I heard that there can be problems with Amex due to their 15 digit number. Can anyone tell me if this is true/ has anyone on the board had experience of transferring an amount from say, their MBNA or Barclaycard to an Amex rewards card?
Was it smooth...or any problems?
Thanks in advance.
