named driver on car insurance

just wondering if you have a named driver on your insurance does this mean they have fully comp if your fully comp on your car.. its cheaper to name my other half on my insurance and him on mine even though we have our own insurances.. but if we drive each others cars are we coverd fully comp and not just third party if we drive on our own insurance..

I'm the named driver on my wife's mobility scheme car insurance & i'm fully comp, not sure how that helps you or if it's the same for non mobility cars but it's somewhere to start.

If the policy is Fully Comp, then any named driver is also insured Fully Comp.
