Moneyboat won't mark ccj as satisfied, affecting rental application.

Options
Hi folks,
I'm at a bit of a loss what to do. I had a loan with moneyboat in 2015 which i defaulted on and ended up with a CCJ for the best part of £300. I paid this off in 2016 and thought that was the end of it.
Last year i applied to rent a house, and during the referencing the CCJ i had with them flagged as unsatisfied. I contacted them and they admitted the mistake, and emailed me confirmation, telling me they'd also mark it as satisfied.
I forwarded this to the estate agents who then accepted this as proof of satisfaction. All good, or so i thought.
A week ag o i applied for a new rental as i'm moving for work. During the referencing process the same CCJ flagged as unsatisfied. I contacted Moneyboat who yet again admitted their mistake, and emailed me confirmation of their mistake and the loan being paid in full. I emailed this to the estate agent last week, and today i was contacted by the estate agents requesting a certificate of satisfaction. Moneyboat also asked me for a screenshot of my CCJ reference number, so they could mark the CCJ as satisfied, which i sent.
I contacted the referencing agency who told me a confirmation email is not enough for my apllication, and they want a certificate of satisfaction.
So i contacted the courts, who asked me to forward them the email from moneyboat and pay the £15 fee for the certificate, which i did. They tell me this can take up to 10 days to sort, or 30 if they have to wait on written confirmation from Moneyboat.
I then contacted Moneyboat again, who still hadn't opened the email i sent them last week with the screenshot or did anything about the CCJ. I asked to speak to a manager and was told none were available. I was then told that the complaints department were dealing with my case and i will be contacted by end of business today.
I'm at a loss with this, the courts tell me all moneyboat needs/had to do is go online and mark it as satisfied.
My credit rating isn't great, but the referencing agency told me everything else is complete on my application and that once the certificate is acquired my application grade will change and i will be successful.
I feel like i'm running out of time, and the funniest thing is i'm in the position to actually pay all 6 months rent in advance.
Is there any way to hurry Moneyboat along? What next steps should i take?
I just cannot understand why moneyboat have had such problems marking a satisfied loan as paid in full.
Sorry for length of post.

Escalate the complaint with moneyboat. If that is unsuccessful complain to the ICO. Moneyboat must by law ensure all data is accurate.
  • They’re marking the CCJ as full which the courts must do.

If they still won’t do it you need to make an official complaint and wait the 8 weeks before you can escalate it
