Are you the named individual on the client contract or is the contract simply that your employer provides 1 FTE ?

If the change was coming in then that sounds like a change in the contract terms explicitly stating office based

The client has always known about my working from home as they had to agree it as a reasonable adjustment for my disability.
The job hasn't changed and there is no requirement for it to be office based.
