I’m with Holidaysafe but want to cancel and take out another travel insurance before we travel in February. I’ve started looking but am unsure how to find insurers that are not part of and do not use TIF group. Do I need to ask each one?
Leisure Guard Travel have just assured me in an on line chat that they do not, but how can I be sure?

I have cancelled mine and rebooked with Staysure. I'm hoping it's a wise move. I cannot see any link to TIF.0

If you wish to view who the insurers are then refer to the policy wording on the providers website. I can confirm Leisure Guard do not use TIF for any of their insurance products.Verified Company
I am a verified representative of Leisure Guard. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the Verified Companies list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE.0 -
I used Staysure in June this year - I spoke to a person and asked several times if they were anything to do with Tifgroup. They are not, however our policy was underwritten by ERV. (Not URV) However when I got back I discovered that the former head of Emergency Assistance Facilities /Tifgroup (Dan Frollini EAF for 5 years) has jumped ship and gone to ERV - so that's the last time I use Staysure too.
I hasten to add that not all Staysure policies are underwritten by ERV but I will not have anything to do with those people, any of them, who had anything to do with our case.
Roll on the FCA doing what they are supposed to do.0
