Hi all, I'm going to email my defence tomorrow...
Then let's hope that there are some people prepared to spend a nice sunny weekend reviewing your Defence.

You have had a month to show us a draft.

    It's very good.

I would add a 'Post Office' version of points #8 and #11 from this one, too:

How long typically before I receive correspondence. Filed defence 1st April.

    This is the current status..

Your acknowledgment of service was submitted on 01/03/2019
Your acknowledgment of service was received on 04/03/2019
Your defence was received on 01/04/2019

This hasn't moved in 4 weeks..

Have you not had a letter from the CCBC telling you that the Claimant has 28 days after receiving your Defence to consider their options?

Of course no-one knows when the CCBC sent your Defence to the Claimant.

    Patience is a virtue.

Hi Keith, yeah I did receive the HM courts acknowledged letter, dated the 1st of April.

The letter also states my defence was sent to Civil Enforcement, also on the 1st April, I'm assuming we're outside of the 28 days timeframe now?

Like you say, best to remain patient.

We also don't know what delays there are within the CCBC that is stopping them sending you a DQ promptly

A week or so ago we were hearing that the CCBC were about ten days behind with processing this stuff.

Whether they are catching up or getting further behind... who knows.

    Hi all,

Finally received correspondence in the form of a 'Notice of Proposed Allocation to the Small Claims Track'.

Any advice on what infomation I should be supplying here? I don't want to hinder my case by putting something which could play into Civil Enforcement Ltd's hands.

The NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #2 will guide you through safely, pay particular attention to the advice written by legally qualified regular contributor bargepole.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
