Finding Permitted Work

Hi
I am researching the above, and whilst I have one potential route to doing this, I wished to explore others and having trouble getting started.
I would be eligible for doing Supported Permitted Work, but don't know which way to approach the organisation that could help set this up (or indeed which ones to try).
I know that with permitted work it be theoretically be anything, but the more accommodating employers who have some experience of doing this for others would be better. To be cynical I assume it helps also if the DWP review my case.
Any suggestion, or indeed the experience of this, very welcome...
