Pay as You Go with Rollover

Are there any providers that do PAYG properly: where you keep unused minutes/texts/data and not have them expire at the end of the month or whatever?

If these are boosts sort of things its common for them to expire after 30 days or so if you use them.

Sky claim to do what you want but I can't be sure if they do PAYG, but if you look around o2 and Three have PAYG packages that offer data from 1p a megabyte so depending on how much data you use that may be cheaper?

Sky roll the data over but the minutes & texts are unlimited anyway, you also have to have Sky TV as it's not a cheap option without it. It's a monthly (minimum 12 month) contract also, not PAYG.

    well EE will do it.

You just need to text STOP PACK to 150

But if you want data, I would have a look at SIM ONLY.
Start from £5/month for an allowance.
    e.g plusnet.
Better value than PAYG if you use the phone and not its not an emergency phone

EE PAYG packs only roll over data i think. But at least they actually roll over all data unlike Skys rather dishonest claims about data rollover which only rolls over in 1Gb chunks meaning if you only have a 1GB allowance the chances of ever rolling over anything are close to zero.

    Sky don't offer PAYG.

Smarty might suit you, they credit you back for any data in your bundle that you haven't used. All bundles have unlimited minutes and texts so they're irrelevant,

    Wrong.

You can REDEEM the data in 1GB chunks, everything gets rolled over for up to 3 years. You can also redeem it for Piggybank Rewards although I've not actually looked in to that yet.

Edit: You can also redeem it to up to 5 different sims on the same account.

PAYG properly? That's traditional PAYG where you simply put money on your phone and then using up some of that balance every time you make a call/text or use data.

Bundles (aka packs, goodybags, boosts etc), give you a fixed amount of minutes/texts/data to use in a 30-day period. Vodafone will let you carry over minutes & texts as well as data, and according to them, they are the only ones to do that, as EE & 02 only carry data over.

See the Total Rollover section of: www.vodafone.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/consumer/mobile/pay-as-you-go/big-value-bundle/
