I bought 2 Belgian buns from my local co-op today and had one with my lunch, it tasted musty despite it still being in date - use by 12 November! I rang the store and they asked me to take it back at my convenience and they will give me a double refund:j

You could also have a double replacement (if you can eat 4 buns), or a replacement and a refund.

I bought a box of museli from them (about £1.50 I think) but I think some of the cereal wasn't cooked properly and it was like eating grains of rice. (In fact the first "hard" bit I ate, I actually thought I'd somehow chipped my tooth and it was that I was feeling!)

I emailed co-op explaining the situation and said that I was just writing to them incase it was a bad batch or something. I wasn't even after a refund but they sent me a wonderful letter saying that they genuinely take an interest in any complaint and they followed this up with a personal letter and a £5 voucher for the inconvenience. Now that is good customer service.
