Nationwide mortgage

Hi Everyone
Me and my mum are trying to buy a house together we are both first time buyers and trying to get a mortgage with nationwide with a 10% deposit.
We were told the mortgage application has been sent to the underwriters however they don’t require any further information from us. They have also done a credit check on both of us on the 10th November. We have a valuation booked for today.
I just wanted to know if everything goes well at the valuation then how soon can we expect a decision made from them?

I received my Nationwide mortgage offer on the same day as the valuation was performed.0

Do you know if they would do any of their credit checks? Or would the one check be sufficient?0
-
Any other credit checks after they performed the valuation? I'm not sure to be honest, I would have thought they'd do all those checks before getting the valuation report done though.0

They have already done one on the 10th November however I wasn’t sure if they do another one just before accepting the offer.0

My application was done quite quick, mortgage offer issued a week after we received our DIP. Maybe they'll performed another check if there's a lengthy gap between the mortgage application and the valuation being performed??0

Just to say we have had a NW mortgage for many, many years and always had good service from them including porting it to another property.0

I waited 3 days from valuation - also didn't get much texts that other people were getting so was worried, no reason to be, mortgage offer received, waiting on our house being built now

we got our offer about 24 hours after the valuation - we haven't completed but I can't see they have done any other credit checks so far.0

I applied on 27th September. Completing on Wednesday. I haven’t had another credit check as of yet. I’m still anxious thoughMake £10 a day in May- £90/£1500

We got a text that the valuation report was received (valuation was Friday, this was Tuesday) and a text to say the mortgage application was approved right after.
No credit check after approval but we completed 5 weeks after offer was received.0
