Confused.com question?

When filling in accidents / incidents etc, confused ask for cost of claim. So, a accident where the final decision was "non fault, fully recovery made" where the other insurer pays all the costs etc, is zero the correct answer?
Also, a windscreen where a chip was repaired, which cost me the excess £10, is £10 what fill in, or do they want the actual cost of the repair of what it cost the insurer?

Thank you.

    Hi John,

When entering the cost of a claim, you would need to enter the total cost not just the cost your insurance company occurred. Therefore, in your case you would need to enter the overall cost not zero. If you're unsure of the cost of the claim, please contact your insurance company at the time of the incident.

Secondly, for your windscreen claim, you would again need to enter the overall cost not just the excess that you paid.

    I hope this helps.
