I've messed up by changing something not sure what tho
When I click on user account control via settings, it takes me direct to my desktop asking "do you want to make changes to this PC, the only option: NO.
There is no option to select "yes"
When selecting individual programmes in add / remove in control panel, takes me to my desktop, with yes not being an option
This is windows 10 with IE
Any advice please?

It sounds like you're using a guest account which will be why you have no privileges as such. Never actually tried that but try logging out if you can or just restarting.
Edit: actually it looks like the guest account no longer exists so that may well not work.0 -
