*HELP* RAC Warranty cancellation rights

Hi all, long story short I purchased a used car with the RAC warranty. Admittedly, due to the scaremongering tactics from the salesman, telling me that electric parts are very expensive on my particular car and the RAC warranty will definitely cover this.
However, when reading the T&Cs closely, there are so many exclusions. Yes, I know, my mistake for not reading there and then. As this RAC cover is factored into my finance agreement for this used car do you know if I am able to simply cancel this? I am now very concerned that with it incorporated within the agreement I will not be able to cencel.
Upon reading the agreement I see nothing with regards to a cooling off period, it states:
"The agreement may be cancelled buy you at any time but we will only consider a refund if the vehicle has been written off or if you die and provided no maintenance or repair requests have been made and no further periodic maintenance inspection has been provided under the agreement".
I have seen conflicting articles/threads on the internet, some say you can within your 14 day cooling off period? could anyone please help me, the agreement was only signed 2 days ago.
Thank you in advance.

What does your paperwork say about cancelling the policy?
OP has already quoted it in their initial post. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
An aftermarket used car warranty is an insurance product, so should have a 14-day cooling off period.

All extended warranties will give you a cooling off period of at least 14 days which allows you to cancel the warranty and obtain a refund if you decide you do not wish to continue with the cover.
If you decide to cancel after the cooling off period, some providers offer a pro-rata refund minus the cost of claims you have been paid.
Extended Warranty providers who support the ABI’s Good Practice Guide for Extended Warranties will provide you with a refund for cancellation of contracts sold after 31 August 2011. To find out about this, you can either ask the person you are buying the warranty from in store or online, contact your extended warranty provider, or check the terms and conditions within your contract documentation.0 -
Thank you all for your responses, i see that you have stated *should* have a 14 day cooling period. However, within documents it does not state anywhere, I was just wondering if it was within my rights?0

I would just phone and ask. I am in a dispute with the RAC Warranty right now. Honestly, bin it. It's utter junk.
Hope the RAC and TWG can see this post. Come have a row with me guys.... would love to see you try.0 -

Has any successfully cancelled this policy after the 14 day cooling off period?0
