Where has all the toilet roll gone to?

Simpler explanation, IMO. They've been getting rid of old stock so they can release new, 'improved' rolls with fewer/smaller sheets at exactly the same price without anybody noticing.
I've noticed it with my online supermarket account - things I usually buy have been on special offer, gone out of stock almost immediately and are now coming back with less for the same money in a number of staple products. In the case of toilet rolls, they're down to 170-200 sheets from the 280 most used to have.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Nicky stuff from Home Bargains is good enough for me and my bitsmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

There's a problem with the '3-ply' toilet paper .............................. when you compare them with '2-ply rolls', they appear to be the same size BUT do need to remember that, in that case there are going to be ' around 1/3 less sheets per roll'. Always double check the number of sheets per roll - that gives you a better idea of vfm.
Yes, I know that it feels 'nice and squishy' on the roll - but that's because it's not tightly rolled on the inner cardboard tube.
I usually go for the 24 roll packs of ASDA's Shades for £8 - but they had none on the shelves last time I went .................... had to make do with a pack of 12 !0
