Where has all the toilet roll gone to?

I think they must be stock piling it in time for Brexit!

I usually buy a 4 pack of Andrex coloured bog roll but haven’t seen any for ages. Have tried Tesco,Asda, sainsbos but all I can find are big jumbo packs of the white stuff.

Might start stockpiling that myself too :T:T:T

LOL. There's no shortage. I've recently been keeping an eye on loo roll prices in case I can find a better price/deal than the one I currently use... although, I'll confess, I've never ever looked at Andrex... that's for posh bums :)

I'll typically buy 18-24 rolls of "cheapo, but not abrasive" stuff. Not 4-packs, which are the priciest way of buying it.
  • Who actually uses four rolls of bum wipe!

Andrex is manky overpriced Suff. I would not wipe... Best avoided.

Go to ALDI and buy the 18/24 packs of 3 ply stuff. That is something you would consider wiping with.
  • We can’t use cheapo stuff, something in the dye/bleach causes discomfort in one’s nether regions :)

Funny seeing this. Our two local Morrisons stores have been out of it for the last two weeks - This week they had signs up that they were 'working to restore supply'.

I think in part its all the Christmas stock the shops are concentrating on. I remember when I worked in a Supermarket for a couple of years there was always so much promotional stock coming in this time of year that the 'normal' stock would get left behind.
  • I would think it's down to people don't want coloured loo roll any longer - it doesnt match with modern bathrooms.

Personally - I'm also thinking white loopaper may be not as bad for the environment as coloured.

I don't actually recall having seen coloured loo paper anywhere for years now - either in peoples houses or on sale. I didnt think they still made it.

I’m used to seeing blue, pink, peachy coloured stuff but not seen any for ages.
Nor the 2 rolls or 4 rolls of any colour, just the jumbo packs.
Not everyone has the space to store 24 rolls of the stuff lol

Not seen any fancy stuff either with snow flakes,Santa ‘S , reindeers etc for chrimbo.

Our local Morrisons (big store on the retail park) has had empty "tissue" shelves for a couple of months. Not just bog rolls but kitchen roll etc is missing

If I had known how much toilet paper my dear wife goes through weekly, i would have asked for a dowry.

The prices have just gone up massively - Andrex in our local Morrisons this week costs 80p more than it did last week. Hoping we won't notice because it's Christmas?
