You've got to be in it to win it
as they say, I try to enter 20 to 30 a day but normally set myself a time limit 1/2 hour or an hour at a time then make myself do something else.Silver Surfer, Always Smiling

Only joking about having a life - its just that I spent about 5 hours today - on and off - entering comps and thought I was getting carried away. Have decided to limit myself to 1 hr - in half hour slots!! Will be letting you all know how I do!!! would love to win something for my brother in law (and his wife) who was fixing our car until 2am this morning!! Can't afford to pay him much - in fact a car would be nice (for him) can't see that happening though!!0

I'd actually cut myself down to about 10 a day when I won my biggie, but since then I've started to do a few more
5 hours is about average for me too, occasionally I may just do an hour or two. 0 -
At the moment I'm off work so can pretty much sit on here all day sorting out email, writing my diploma stuff & nipping through the comps I want to enter. Only break for a couple of hours for lunch (when BF & I watch some of our tv progs) & 2-3 hours for tea (again we watch some telly progs) I also seem to have pushed my body clock back so I'm going to bed later each night - don't even have the Virgin comp to blame anymore
For me, comping is now my hobby, better than shopping for stuff I don't need & can't afford on eBay! BF also gets excited when the postman calls as he likes to open the winning packages up 'for me'
Good luck with your new hobby - you are far better than me if you can just do an hour a day! :eek:Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out

I have been comping for about a month now - haven't won diddly squat not even with Cadbury's Wrappers. Most of mine haven't ended yet so there is still hope - I aim for cars, DVDs, holidays, tickets. As for that Virgin comp - it drove me mad but I did enter all their other comps too so there is hope for me yet.
BTW I should be mopping the kitchen floor but instead I am playing in here. LOL0 -
I have been doing this since aug 07 and had mainly small wins(dvd box sets, Toys, 2 lots of £50.00 Vouchers, family tickets) again I enter lots of kids stuff as i have two children under 5 yrs.
To be honest they have only started coming in , in the last month it takes a few months, I enter about 50 a day
