NCB problem

4 years ago I had to start gaining NCB from scratch due to having had a car through work. From November 2014 to November 2016 I was with Swiftcover. I made a glass claim in June 2015 (in the first year) and they told me that I would lose my NCB for that year. When I left I believed I had 1 years NCB but upon checking I had 2 - they had changed their business policy during the 2nd year.

This has led to me being 1 years NCB behind since and only came to light when I had to prove my NCB to my current insurers. Can I claim for overpayment of premiums from the insurers I have subsequently been with due to this?

Many thanks
