Where to buy a monitor?

Am pretty sure I’m going to get an LG 34WK95-U monitor but my only options appear to be getting it online i.e. Amazon..... which I’m not particularly comfortable with. If there are warranty issues etc.

Ideas?

Thanks

LG UK's website suggests that PC World is the only retailer that sells that monitor, but PC World's own website does not have it listed. There are a number of online resellers that have one store, e.g. Overclockers, Laptops Direct, Scan, so I would look for the closest Online Reseller you can find and buy from there. Laptops Direct didn't have the 34" version but did have the 38" for £1200.

If Amazon itself is selling the monitor (not a third party retailer selling via Amazon) then you shouldn't worry too much as their customer service is pretty good if there are any issues.
  • Thanks tacpot12....

Did look at LG’s site for dealers but once I saw PCWorld it was going to be a no no. Way back in the day when I was a hard up student Dixon’s sold me a lemon of a computer which they washed their hands of once they had my money.

Anyway, did look at the 38” version when coming to my decision but I think that the 34” is a better deal. It has a higher resolution & colour space but the main reason is I find it odd to edit video on a curved screen..... is that just me?

No, I would find a curved screen odd for some applications.
